Dominion- Riverton

City History, Culture and Description
Located at the mouth of the Avalon River and the Raven's Run, it is the largest inland city and is in many ways the heart of the The Holy Dominion . The city is a trade hub connecting the western and eastern branches of the Dominion, and is famous for its roads of water and canals that branch off from the three main rivers that flow through the town However its wealth does not match that of[Grand Marquett, much to the ire of its upper class. Most of the cities officials and business owners are hell bent on rivalling their sisters cities prestige. As a result the main canals and businesses are beautiful and expensive, but if one were to venture beyond the main streets they would find a city of slums and serfs barley making ends meet.
Important Characters
Law Maker Rowan- a 53 year old male human. He has straight golden hair (with evidence of being dyed), green eyes, and a short handlebar moustache. He is very loud, boasting and prideful. He enjoys surrounding himself with others of high status to increase his own. He also enjoys throwing large and expensive banquets as often as possible (which he can barely afford).
Comandant Terrowin de Mowbray- a 44 year old male human. He has a bald head and a short goatee . He has a beefy build, and wears an eyepatch on right eye. Enjoys leading hunts into the forest and telling stories of his many kills and exploits, all of which are not true.
Ravinite Charles Drake- He has short, curled, black hair, cyan eyes, an extra finger on his left hand, and is young for his station (around mid 30's). He is a no nonsense individual and very dedicated to serving the Raven Queen and his order. However he is not corrupt and is actually rater caring. He is the only reason the government still functions in the city.
Book Keeper Montagu- a small bookish man in his late 80's, he has trouble walking but still has an incredibly sharp mind for books and numbers.
Amon Toltier- a tall and handsome half elf, he is a member of the gentleman's gang and runs the cities underworld. He is however envious of his bosses position, and is plotting to overthrow him if and when the opportunity arises.
Local Quests
Working the fields- pays 25 silver a day, doubled if attacked. Talk to head Head worker Johnston.
River protection- 50 gold up river to Cameris, 10 downriver to Grand Marquett. Caravans leave weekly.
Proving Grounds- Bronze Level, 3 rounds. First two are beasts, the last another group.

Blacksmith- Zane Cartwright is a 44 year old male human blacksmith. He has long, curled, red hair and brown eyes. He stands 5'1" tall and has a regular build and has a scar on his right arm. He dreams of one day crafting something truly magnificent, and always has a large pile of scraped metal nearby from his imperfect attempts at it.
Myrtles Mysteries- a small tent that is always changing locations run by Old Myrtle, a women who appears to be nearing 100. She offers magical services and fortune telling, as well as magical deals and miracle cures. Her shop is outlawed by the local authorities but they haven't been able to catch her. Myrtle is secretly a hag.
Shady dealer-Podon Zanybar Ummop Sayur (or just Pods) is a 284 year old male rock gnome fence. He has long, curled, white hair shaved on the right side and brown eyes, stands 3'11" tall and has a round build. He has a sharp, disgusting face with a very short goatee and He smokes the pipe frequently. Can be found often near the Gypsy's Drink or hanging around the alleys of the silver square.
Healing and potions- Terrowin Keenseeker is a big and burley human, standing at 6'8 with a large unkept black beard, he is an intimidating sight. He is a hunter, trapper, and potion maker who lives outside the city walls on the outskirts of the fields near the forest. He is also a warebear. He takes in a Kobold named Clank, who after encountering Anira has had his mind opened and is now a kobold inventor.
Stables- run by an older man with a calm demeanor named Bill. His ill tempered and much craftier brother Jerry owns the stable in Grand Marquette. He is very kind, and has a special pace for the bar keep Bruna, who purchased the Red Chalice from him.
General store- Algast Chilly is a 53 year old male stout halfling merchant. He has a bald head and brown eyes. He stands 3'8" tall, has an oblong, cute face with a short beard. He has a slight lisp.
Food (butcher, baker, ext)
The Red Chalice- run by a women named Bruna who has worked as a server here for most her life. She bought the tavern from its previous owner a few years ago, and has since turned it into the most popular tavern in the city.
The Gypsy's Drink- A poorer inn located in the outskirts of the city, this tavern and inn is very large and doubles as a soup kitchen and help center for those in need. The owner Evelyn is a beautiful young women with a kind and caring demeanor. And while she is beloved by those she helps, her name has been tarnished by rumors of how she funds her charity. This is because she is involved with Amon Toltier, who gives her money in exchange for favors in housing his men and continuing their relationship.
Jeweler- Caresta Orren is a 269 year old female elvish jeweler. He has a bald head and green eyes. He is a rather bored and boring person, who lost the passion for his craft long ago.
Tailor- William Cartwright is a 35 year old male human with long, wavy, red hair and blue eyes. He inherited the shop from his mother who passed a few years ago. He is gay.

Nicholas- a Ravenite apprentice, he has only recently been allowed to work outside the temples as a guardian, and is desperate to prove himself. He is brave and idealistic, whole heartedly devoted to his creed.
Roger Woodleaf is a 47 year old male human diplomat. He has long, curled, golden hair and brown eyes. He has rugged white skin. He stands 5'9" tall and has a regular build. He has a square, bland face.
Mimay Derhubb is a 41 year old female lightfoot halfling diplomat. She has very long, wavy, brown hair and brown eyes. She has smooth gray skin. She stands 99cm (3'2") tall and has a skinny build. She has a round, common face.
Findelye and Ursla Isilielenion are an elfin couple. She has long, curled, dyed silver hair and golden eyes. He has dark black hair and silver eyes. She and her husband are visiting from the Elvin isle on their way to Raven Crest.
Clifton Commonbrook is a 38 year old male human with a bald head, a short beard and brown eyes. He is a representative for the Tempest Shipping Company, who Charles Drake invited to the city to look into the financials and improve the trade efficiency in the city.
Jarin Woodleaf is a 47 year old male human Ravenite. He has very long, curled, gray hair shaved on the right side and black eyes. He is the right hand of Charles Drake and in known as the ravenite enforcer in the city.

Exports and Trade- The town deals mostly as a trade nexus and makes its money off the travers and merchents passing through.
