Dominion- Canlan

City History, Culture, Trade and Description
This small town grew up from the original Fort Canlan, and is simply a few locals trying to make some coin off the trade moving through the area, and a small group of farmers to feed them. The only thing of note is that the town lies on the other end of the Arcini Run, so there is often a large military presence.
Important Characters
Law Maker Ismael- a man in his early 30's with dark brown hair, clean shaven face and kind brown eyes. He is new to the position, having been elected only a year prior after the sudden death of the previous Law Maker, and relies heavily on the other two more experienced government officials.
Commandant Keenseeker- an older man with snow white hair, a long but upkept beard and cyan eyes. He is past his prime, nearing retirement age, but is a hardened veteran who led Arcini Caravans for many years.
Ravenite Anastas- a middle aged women with long, wavy, black hair black eyes and soft white skin. She
Book Keeper Guinevere a 90 year old female half-elf. She has short, braided, blond hair and green eyes. The tips of her ears have been cut off, the result of a childhood incident with a group of bullies. She worked hard to get to this position and is extremely competent and in fact does most of the work in running the city for Ismael, but is soft spoken and shy around crowds, preventing her from achieving any public position.
Local Quests
Protecting the Fields- pays 15 silver per day, double if attacked, 1 week shifts
Caravan Protection- pays 20 gold upriver to Ravencrest, and 10 gold downriver to Port Arthur.
The Arcini Run- the large caravans leave monthly, and pays 10 platinum (upon arrival in the city).

Fort Calnlan- the original fortifications located in the northern part of the city, it now serves as the seat of local government.
Shops
Blacksmith- a large workshop on the eastern side of the town, run by a 143 year old female elf named Orren. She has very long, straight, auburn hair shaved on the right side and cyan eyes. She is not a blacksmith herself, but a savy business women who runs the shop side of things. She is also the local runner of the Gentleman's Gang, and the shop serves as a front for smuggling goods through the city., which she keeps in a large Warehouse nearby.
Fletcher and armorer- those looking for extra weapons and armor can go to Fort Canlan and talk to Thundark, a 181 year old male hill dwarf. He has a bald head, brown eyes, and is missing some fingers on his left hand. He will provide equipment for those willing to pay or those heading out on the Arcini Run, and even has a small supply of magical equipment for a steep price.
Healing and potions- Reward Chinell, a 65 year old male lightfoot halfling. He has cropped, curled, red hair and brown eyes. He can be found either at Fort Canlan, or at one of the local taverns. He helps scout and lead caravans for the Arcini Run, but also is very knowledgeable of the various ingredients needed for potion making and provides such things for the fort, occasionally selling excess ones to mercenaries and adventurers.
General store- a comparatively large store located just outside the fort that stocks food and supplies for those traveling through or gearing up for Arcini. The store also has rooms above for travelers who cant find space at the Inn. Its run by a 35 year old man named Thomas. He has a bald head, brown eyes and a friendly demeanor.
Platinum Chalice- a medium sized Inn and Tavern in the center of the town, run by Leofrick Woodleaf, a 56 year old man. He has long, wavy, brown hair, brown eyes and a gigantic, braided beard. He also has 2 piercings on his left ear. Leofrick is a retired mercenary who is a veteran of the Arcini run, but decided one day that it would be more profitable (and survivable) to set up shop here.
Other NPC’s
Clifton Redstream- a 23 year old male human farmer. He has very long, braided, golden hair and golden eyes.
Esme Fenwick is a 41 year old female human farmer. She has a bald head and brown eyes.
---Frozen Toad Delvers (adventuring group)- got their name fighting Slaads in Dronax, brought back their heads frozen.
Writingham is a 40 year old male human fighter. He has a bald head, a long black beard and dark eyes. Veteran leader of the group.
Birlond is a 228 year old female high elf wizard, who specializes in ice magic. She has short teal colored hair and gray eyes, doesn't say very much.
Thrimal is a 105 year old male mountain dwarf rouge scout. He has fiery red hair and beard, but a calmer demeanor than expected. He served in the Dwarven army before striking off on his own.
Zane Farlight is a 20 year old male human fighter. He has long, straight, brown hair and black eyes. He is the newest member of the group, having signed up to replace member killed some months back and is still untested.
