Cosmology
At the beginning of time, the ten organic gods each created one species in their own image. These species are the dwarves, thri-kreen, elves, hobgoblins, orcs, humans, satyrs, tieflings, amphi, and kenku. Many other races either evolved naturally or were created by the spirits.
Ravek carved the dwarves from stone,
with his mighty chisel and hammer of bone.
Khotaur twisted insect flesh,
the thri-kreen born in forms grotesque.
Etteus grew the elves in sacred place,
from the seeds sprouted their natural grace.
Chktari forged, with ash and flame,
hobgoblins bound to war and claim.
Gloria painted with the blood of her foes,
the orcish hordes of swords and bows.
Kremera's quill, with ink-stained hand,
penned the humans to rule the land.
Farus brewed with hearty cheer,
satyrs bold in both song and beer.
Karmane wished with whispered breath,
and the tieflings stirred, defying their death.
Aeorr stirred the boundless sea,
and amphi rose, bold and free.
Vulotl paid a heavy toll,
summoning kenku at the cost of his soul.
But the rest of life arose in kind,
with Numira and her spirits as their guide.
