Climate in the conclave islands
Even when the weather in the conclave archipielago can vary from island to island, especially in the ones big enought to have mountains, there are some characteristic that most of them share.
Due to what the people here call the protection of The Elders, the temperatures are very temperate. Snow has never been seen at sea level and it is even rare in all but the tallest mountains that exist in the a few of the bigger islands in the archipielago.
There are only two real seasons, with mild oscilations of temperature between the two. In the so called cold season, temperatures are cold enough to warrant warmer clothes during the night and the rain is considerable colder. Certain types of fish and molusc, like the Lustrelisk are only present during this time. During this season, there are, more storms in the open sea, and they are normally more intense as well, so sea traveling is normally reserved for the local area. Only the most seasoned seafarers, leave the Conclave area during the cold season.
During the warm season temperatures rise considerably, people wear very little clothers while working indoors, but wear full coverage, while outiside or in the open seas, to avoid the problems asociated with sun exposure. While there is some raining happening during this warm season, most of it happens during the begginng or the end of it.
Storms normally come from the open seas, beyond the elders. Which keep the worst stroms at bay, protecting the archipielago.
This seasons do not match cleanly with the ones in Entrelai , but the rought equivalence of the cold season would be the later half of the Late sowing season, the Community season and the early half of the Early sowing season. While the warm season including the rest of the year.
