Wonders of Old Dwarves
1. Khazad Dum- Old City = The Wonders of Khazad dum prior to the travel to the new world
2. Walls of the Khazadit= Massive Walls that enclose the Khazadit Valley in the north and south. Think Wall of Constantinople but longer, stronger, and more impossible to attack and or siege
3. Keeps of the Sword Mountains. The Northern Alternative to the Walls of the Khazadit, these keeps are hidden across the sword Mountains to prevent any would-be attackers. Acting as outposts and defense points, each Keep is strategically placed, well hidden, and self-sufficient. They are the keepers of the mountains and ensure that any who seek to climb them with hostile intentions, do not leave the mountains.
4. The Under Road = Series of Roads connecting the Holds of the Khazadkar prior to the Crown wars. They united the kingdom and were the safest form of travel in the Underdark (equivalent to the old US highway system)
5. Golden hall of Kings of old = Massive statues of Erebor's greatest kings poured and made of solid gold
6. Afror Library and University = Created after the travel to the new world, to store and preserve the knowledge of the Old World. In doing so it became a great place of learning and an administrator tool to create great administrators. it is the First known university of its kind and houses all of the known knowledge of the old World and the Dwarves' understanding of the new.
7. Sea of Sunken Peaks = originally a treacherous archipelago, the Dwarves have made these waters more dangerous and mapped out all of the safe routes in and around the islands. If one is willing to spend some small coin for the toll and guide, one can shave off a couple of days or even a week of trying to either travel around to through the dangerous waters. Dwarven longships guide larger ships through the archipelago either to Dalum, or past it. This system makes up the Southern s=defense of the Khazadit, preventing naval invasion and any attempts to attack from the sea.
