Calaunt's Doppelgangers
The citizens of Calaunt were under the sway of a clan of Doppelgangers all operating out of theatre. The Merchants Men were a performing company who had Doppelgangers that were taking the identities of the City Rulers. They would also kidnap citizens and sell them into slavery.
The Company of the Cold Peaks investigated and linerated Calaunt from this problem causing political power to shift.

- Farthazoule is concerned about the disappearances of many wealthy and prominent citizens and residents of Calaunt. Furthermore he is concerned by the fact that many of the good people he knew, and who spoke out against the Dukes have had a radical change of personality.
- His face is too well known by the Dukes for him to investigate. He offers the party a sum of 15,000 GP to investigate this.

- Zenril is a very good friend of Iritar "the Dark" one of Calaunt's Dukes.
- He is carrying out Iritar's wishes of eliminating prominent Calaunt citizens when they come to the Thorn Theatre Playhouse to see his plays. Iritar is paying the Merchant's Men very well for this service. Many of the citizens are getting knocked out by the actors and sold into slavery, later to be replaced by Doppelgangers that same night.
