Neverwinter Nights

A broadsheet, also known as a short scroll, was a short, printed document that usually contained tabloid-style news or political rants. They were common in Waterdeep. The Vigilant Citizen, The Blue Unicorn, Daily Luck and North Wind were popular Waterdavian broadsheets. The first major broadsheet in Neverwinter is the Neverwinter Nights which currently enjoys a monopoly on the market. It has a very wide range of topics it covers, but it generally does focus on the rebuilding efforts and day-to-day news concerns for Neverwinter.   Neverwinter Nights also produces chapbooks of the same name. A chapbook, was a short book often containing memoirs or romantic stories. They were also commonly published in Waterdeep.   Neverwinter Nights chapbooks are a periodical that covered topics of interest for the Neverwintian high society: culture, arts, events, reviews of musicals, theater, oratorical performances, and of course, gossip. The publication followed a lax schedule, releasing regular issues and printing "special issues" if something sudden of note happened in the city. Neverwinter Nights kept its readers informed of famous musicians' visits, new fanciful establishments, and upcoming book releases. Arguably, the Neverwinter Nights' gossip section was the most popular, covering high society feuds, disgraceful occurrences, scandals, bans, and even murders and pregnancies. As of the Year of Deep Water Drifting, 1480 DR, Neverwinter Nights was edited and published by Lundrago Mursimmur.   Neverwinter Nights Handouts
