Evermeet

In the world of Toril, far into the ocean west of Faerûn, elven high mages gathered together to create a shining, perfect home their people, and performed a mighty work of magic that brought Toril into contact with the divine domains of Arvandor. The feat ripped through the world, bringing the calamity of the First Sundering. When the world settled, the result was a place of staggering beauty and impossible elven artifice, an alien realm as distant and beautiful as the stars. For millennia, Corellon denied the elves access to this heavenly realm as punishment for their folly. Eventually, he allowed them to set foot on the isle, now an immortal haven all elves are eventually called towards.

During the Spellplague, Evermeet was unmoored from Toril and instead merged with the Feywild. Since the Second Sundering, Evermeet has returned to Toril, and now straddles the Material Plane, the Feywild, and Arvandor.
