Government

Run by a Baron Tilruc Tokac, Vassal of Westgate, this village survives on trade as a stop on the trader's road. There isn't a strong law enforcement in the area making it dangerous to leave the town limits during the night. However, during the day a local task force protects the city.

Defences

A small taskforce hired by the baron to protect the city called the Coast Watch. However, as a vassal of Westgate it has the protection of its parent city.

Industry & Trade

Most of the civilians survive by farming or hunting providing food from Westgate.

Infrastructure

Paved roads and and windmills work most of the farms in the smaller town.

Zhentarim

History

Having a relatively short history. When it became part of the empire, the lack of town leadership allowed for the Zhentarim to gain leadership for stability. A trained ranger wood elf named Lereal Boreux led the town till Tilruc Tokac was put in power. However, Lereal Boreux is now in charge of the Coast Watch.

Tourism

Giants Folly

The local mess hall and tavern, its built in the shape of an upside down boat. It is a favorite place for advneture's looking to get a drink or learn about local rumors. However, all rumors come at a price from the bartenders as a local tax to the temple of Oghma as part of an agreement between the two.

The Grand Inn

The only inn in town, it offers single, double and quadruple rooms to be rented for the night. With a stable and storehouse connected. It has protection from the Zhentarim as the owner allows to travel in and out freely asking no questions. It has a reputation for a safe place to store your goods overnight for a fee.

Temple to Oghma

The local temple of Oghma is the place for entertainment for most travelers, often performing songs and poems and dances to Oghma. The small but homely temple has various paintings by the local priests and traveling bards who have stopped by. Maps of the Empire, Corymr Amn and paintings by the locals can be bought here.

House of the Twilight Scholars

A very poorly funded and small school. It is built in a run down warehouse.
