Personal history

Born in the city of Sschindylryn in the middark in the year 1289. Qi'lue was born into the noble Miadarna family. Chosen from a young age, Qi'lue showed an advanced understanding and knowledge of the arcane arts. Like most drow with a talent, she was quick to let those around her know about it. At a young age,  she was often times viewed as cruel but talented. The Miadarna family was known for its prestige and reprimanding the young talented girl was out of the question.    As she spent more and more time getting an arcane education, she found a particular love for necromancy and abjuration magic. As she became more and more skilled, she soon found herself bored with city life. Living the life of a noble and living in the filth of slaves wasn't the life she desired. She took up learning the martial arts, Jivvin golhyrr or the art of humiliation of their foes. As she trained she had the desire for following the second destiny, to eliminate all other elves. She saw the elves who traveled to the underdark and often found them a disgrace. She was in every sense of the world, the ideal follower of Zinzerina, the drow goddess of lies, assassins and illusion. However, she took the words of lies maybe a little too far. She soon found herself leading parties of drow to the surface for attacks. Successful one after successful one, the easy prey of the over-worlders wasn't enough. She started in the night picking off the weakest of her raiding party so only the strong would survive.    During a raid by the time she was about 189 (1478 DR), Qi'lue found herself betrayed by the very same who followed her. The humans in Cormyr had expected the drow raid and surprised them with assistance from Elves of Evereska. Qi'lue was injured in the ambush and left to die by her drow bretheren eventually passing out to her injuries. Luckily for her a wood elf, named Zodori, a healer healed her injuries. He saw the conflict of drow and elves unnecessary and saw this as a way to make ammends. For the next year he would keep Qi'lue alive and recover her from her injuries. However, she would lose an ear in the process from her wounds.    In the year 1479 DR,As soon as she could leave however, she did sparing the elf as she made her way off. However when she found her way back to Sschindylryn, she found swords pointed at her for treason and destruction of the drow race, in a grasp for power by her compatriots. Being given over to the church of Lolth, she was to be converted to a drider and driven mad. However, Qi'lue refused this life and with some wit she made her way escaping to the safety of an ally of her family the beholder Ilim to the south. There she worked under the beholder as part of his assassin's guild making her way up the ranks and improving her magical abilities.    On one of her mission's to deal with a dignitary to Chult in the year 1488 DR, she met a fallen Aasimar named Alara Moreal and a human Godfred Lazar. At first, she could sense the anger in the Aasimar and sought her as a magical apprentice. Thus, she waited for her opportunity to join the group especially after discovering their interest in chult. The caravan provided protection and this aasimar whom she was winning over on the journey became collateral. However, as she spent more time with Alara training her in the arcane arts, she started to have a budding friendship. She was vicious and brutal in battle but also well trained with a keen eye for tactics.    This relationship would grant Qi'lue a friend for life as well as a future. The two would separate as Alara headed back to Cormyr to report about her failure. Qi'lue however, heard of another drow who had worked in the Assassins guild briefly who had taken over the city of Nathlek and heard of a brewing war against the humans and desired to join the armies of the Coalition of the Tor. She saw this as a way of getting unexiled. She would convince her friend Alara to join as well.   Qi'lue mostly served as support and medic for the armies leading but often being put in the war room to plan the next attack due to her battlefield due to her tactical prowess eventually giving her acceptance among the drow in the coalition. She however, during this time started to find a new interest for the development of enhancing her own abilities and the abilities of others as she would marry a male drow warrior named Vlondril Torep. During the war, she would soon become pregnant and thus sidelined from the battles. However, her magic and prestige granted her access to various secrets. After the war her son, Malzgat was born.   She would discover in the year 1526 that the emperor Djedfre of the Turlagh Empire planned on using an artifact from the Elder Elemental eye known as the Sword of Everlasting Fire. A corrupted sword of power, she sough the power at first before realizing the chaotic energy it brought. By the year 1528 DR, she informed her friend Alara and a fellow general Atticus Omnath of her discovery and planned to assassinate the emperor. She would succeed with the help of her friend Alara and Atticus to slay the emperor however, at the cost of Alara receiving a terrible curse seemingly without a cure.    When Alara took power of the empire, Qi'lue was put in charge of Tezir and eventually the School of Witchcraft in the empire. However, Qi'lue had no desire for ruling and was merely a figurehead allowing her husband and the 6 Lords of Tezir to deal with the problem as she put her time and effort into leading the Sisters of Nathlek and the School of Witchcraft.
