Session 3: The Lizardfolk

General Summary

After the council asked the party to investigate the lizard lair, they made their way to it. While Lari, Giggles, Jorn and Orca took the down the coast, Kyra was working in the mine (left behind). Lari disguised himself as a lizardfolk and stole many weapons from the lair. Jorn and Giggles went back to Saltmarsh in an attempt to pick Kyra up, Kyra notices "her" boat missing. In a fit of rage she rents a dingy and starts rowing to the lair. Kyra and Giggles/Jorn miss each other while sailing. Kyra confronts Orca and Lari about the boat. Giggles and Jorn can't find Kyra, Jorn assumes she dead while Giggles won't believe it and goes on a mission by himself to find her. Orca has disappeared.

Everyone is back at the town. Going to the council it is discussed that the party couldn't find anything that implied a possible attack or invasion of Saltmarsh. The council urges them to go back and find more information to be certain. Going back the party is confronted by a Lizardfolk who knows who they are, and directs the to the Queen. The Queen, very mad, demands her weapons back and explains the folk were buying weapons from the smugglers to launch an attack on Sauhaugin who are a group of water peoples killing and stealing homes from other water-based life. As a show of goodwill and a desire to help, the party talks to many lizardfolk to gain trust and form an alliance. The party holds a fiesta.

Successful but not successful enough, the Queen asks the party to find and kill the Thousand Tooth Devourer.
