Session 28: Arriving at the Styes

General Summary

The party arrives at the Styes and immediately see an old priest being heckled by some children, while others around look and do not help. The party scares away the children, and find the old man to be Master Refrum. Refrum explains to the party the Lantern Ghost killings and how his friend Jarme was executed the day prior for the crimes. However, Refrum believes Jame was set up and asks the party to investigate, as he no longer believes he is safe and will need to leave town. He points the party in the direction of Constable Jute. Jute explains she believes that Jarme was also set up, and it is suspicious that his trial was so quick, and clean up of the crime was the same. She leads the party to the crime scene where Jarme was found as well as a new crime scene from this morning. She directly the party to look into the Hopene'er asylum where Jarme was being kept. Upon arrival to the asylum, the party meets a boy named Brey, and somehow adopt him after turning his room into Jorns room (full of crosses). The party goes to Jarmes room and discovers drawnings (see Jarmes room in locations) that are very hard to understand. The party then goes to Mr. Dorys warehouse.
