Session 2: The Boat
General Summary
The party went back to town and were summoned by the council. The party explains that the house was being used as a smuggling operation. The council hires the party to investigate a potential boat being used to transport smuggled goods. The party adventures around town waiting for a sighting of the boat, and also set up a Saw type trap in the tunnels of the house.
The party waits at the house till the boat arrives. Once the boat arrives, the boat (named Sea Ghost) sends a flashing message using a lantern. The party gives the correct response and 2 smugglers exit the Sea Ghost on a dingy heading towards the beach. After killing and interrogating the smugglers, the party sails to the Sea Ghost. They kill quite literally everyone aboard, except a captured sea elf, Oceanus (was sent by his people to investigate the Sea Ghost), and Larri makes friends with a pseudodragon. Kyra claims to the be captain of this boat. The party finds information that seems to show that the smugglers were selling weapons to the Lizardfolk.
Upon returning to town and reporting to the council, the party get paid and asked to investigate the Lizardfolk at Dunwater to figure out exactly their intentions.
