Dark Elf

Svartalfar

Any elf born outside of Alfheim, away from the sun. Because of the Svartalfheim Dark Elves, they are usually associated with darkness, selfishness and malice.

Language

• Because they have to learn the language instead of being born knowing it, Dark Elves usually speak a mouthy and guttural version of Elvish.

Appearance

• Skin: White/purple/gray/black/dark blue.
• Hair: White/Black/Gray/Midnight colors.
• Teeth: White/black/purple/gray.
• Height: 5' 4" to 6' 10". Average is 6' 2", taller than Humans in general.
• Weight: About 170 lbs for an average 6' 2" individual.
• Tattoos: Common black and blue tattoos and scarification in various patterns, usually lines and dots drawn to unlock the potential of the individual.
• Ears: Pointed in various sizes and shapes.

Tips

It is not recommended to call Dark Elves simply "Elf" because the term usually refers to Light Elves and you will probably offend them.
