Alfheim

Alfheim

Alfheim is the realm of elves. It was the home of all elves until a great schism when some thousands of Light Elf journeyed to what is now Svartalfheim and claimed it as their own. It is found in the highest branches of Yggdrasil.

Geology

Since gravity follows the surface of the World Tree, all kinds of locations can be found on the bark of the branches on all sides. Locations like: Cities, Temples, Coves, Ponds and Lakes, Smaller Forests, Mountains and Hills (dust which has covered knots and bumps on the World Tree) and so on.

Ecology

The animals of the branches of Yggradisl vary greatly. Some are mere giant forms of their earth counterparts, others are spiritual and magical in their nature.

Inhabitants

Elves and some humans who climbed.

Tip

The top branches of Yggdrasil can be very sunny at day and very windy and chilly at night, especially so closer to Arvid. Dress for the weather if you plan on visiting.
