Asgard is the realm of the Aesir and where those slain in battle come in their afterlife. It is separated into two worlds called Folkvangr and Valhalla.
Folkvangr
Folkvangr is the realm of the Aesir goddess Freya. Half of those slain in battle and some of who die in other means come here.
Valhalla
Valhalla is where the most valiant or honorable half slain in battle come to rest. They spend their days battling and feasting and hunting. Life is safer in Valhalla than Folkvangr.
Midgard
Europe
Europe in 800-950 AD was hard and brutal. Iron was the reigning weapon and it was used to hack and chop and change the destiny of man forever. Modern Norway, Sweden and Denmark were the birth places of most vikings. They raided and interacted with any country they could travel to including Scotland, Endland, Wales, Ireland, Frisia (france), Normandy(france), Germany and beyond.

Bark-realm. Wooden and golden cities.

The realm of the dwarves. Below the world tree.
Mountains, crags, forests, caves, plateaus, rivers and valleys.
Jotunheim

Jotunheim is the realm of the giants. It magically distorts size.
The topography is always changing due to the movements of the giants.
Helheim

The realm of Hel, the keeper of the dead who do not go to Asgard.
Swamps, cold cave, gates, rivers, lake, darkness.
Muspellheim
Muspellheim
The lands of fire. The southmost plane.
Volcanoes, deserts, ruins, temples, fire swamps, flame seas.
Niflheim

The lands of ice and fog. The northmost plane.
Tundra, glacier, mountain, frozen seas, roaring seas, mist.
Utgard

The outer lands. The realm between realms.
The Stronghold of the Giants is here on an island in the Outer Sea.
Jormungandr swims the seas of Utgard.

The realm of the Vanir, Freya's sect of lesser gods.
