It's 1974 - a time of free love, folk music and tree-hugging hippies. For reasons only you know, you have taken this summer to follow the Sunshine River Music Fair, a series of folk rock festivals winding its way down Route 66 from Chicago to LA. Rumor has it talent scouts from big record companies are planning attend some shows, searching for the next big thing. Along the way, there will be jam sessions and jealousy, songs and scandals, big breaks and heartbreaks.   But even among flower children, not every danger is as simple as sex, drugs & rock 'n roll. A series of strange and disturbing events begins to unfold in the pages of small town newspapers along the festival route. Is it a coincidence ... or a conspiracy? Youth, music and rebellion are powerful forces. Perhaps strong enough to awaken things which have long slumbered beneath the soil of the heartland.   You and your friends begin to make connections. Get curious. Meddle in things best left undisturbed.

Will any of you reach your California dreams? Or will the temptations and threats prove too great?

Players are musicians, roadies, groupies, FBI agents and others traveling along a 1970s music festival circuit in search of answers about the past, present and future. You may wish you'd never asked the questions.   Support Folk Rock Horror! https://ko-fi.com/katbradbury
