Sevendor

Sevendor was the original domain that Minilan Firnargi was gifted for his service. The domain had a main town, where many of it's occupants came to trade. He quickly remade the town, using magic to better the lives of it's citizens. As a result, the citizens became very accustomed to magic. Many mages of all disciplines came to meet the first mage lord in long time. This brought many skill mages to Minilan's court and the surrounding town, further increasing to magic that infused in the town. As Minilan's domain and prestige began to grow, so did the town, to the point it was a large city.
Minilan's court began to outgrow the modest keep that was part of the Sevendor. Needing a bigger castle, and weary of the many enemies he seemed to be gathering. Minilan hired a crew of dwarfs to make him a large keep in the side of the mountain. The town also grew to encapsulate the area between the old town and the new keep.
In the middle of summer, there is a magical festival in Sevendor. Started shortly after Minilan took over, the Sevendor Magical Festival is now about a week long. Mages come from all over to by magical components, attending lectures, compete in games of magical skill, and exchange knowledge.
