Purpose

Promote safe casting within the land. Banning dangerous spell prevents individuals, schools, and other organizations from teaching them.

Historical Details

History

See Kuro Compromise. Was created as a reaction to both the kingdom and empire utilizing dark arcane magic during the Leicester Rebellions. The Kuro Compromise was not enough to prevent the research of dangerous magics, so instead the church rewinded and decided ban specific abilties and spell instead of all arcane magic.

Public Reaction

As a reaction the Empire and Kingdom officially opened their own schools of wizardry and sorcerery respectively.
