Tofa bread
Tofa bread is a simple, basic type of bread that is baked twice or more until it has the consistency of a hard biscuit. It is usually made of only a few ingredients such as ground rust millet, dried cherifs or blueberries, water, and a little salt.
The mixture is baked once, rolled into a long sheet and cut into palm-sized squares then baked again until hard on the outside. Often this bread is wrapped in cuship paper to help preserve it, even though normally tofa bread has a shelf life of a year.
Tofu bread is common in the Baleland regions but variants of the recipe are known in Southern Spires, Ilfar and beyond.
