Special: Must have successfully manipulated a situation or individual using only words, as acknowledged by a significant faction or organization.
Unlocking this prestige class grants profiency with rapiers, scimitars, medium armor and shields. You also gain expertise with deception and persuasion if you do not have it already. You gain proficiency with with stealth checks.
Class Features
Lethal Lexicon - At 3rd level when you first unlock this Prestige Class you gain Lethal Lexicon. Lethal Lexicon is the core mechanic of many of your abilities and you start with two d6 gaining an additional die every level. The damage die also increases to a d8 at 9th level, d10 at 13th level, and d12 at 17th level.
Expending a use of Lethal Lexicon allows you to target a creature within 60ft who much make a wisdom saving throw, on failure roll the d6 and the target takes 1d6 + charisma modifier psychic damage and the Bard can choose an additional effect from the chart below.

These effects last for three turns. Expending multiple lexicon die can allow multiple targets or extend the duration of the effect.
At third level you also gain the ability Murderous Intent. Murderous Intent allows the Bard to do sneak attack damage against targets affected by mind altering affects once per turn utilizing either melee or magic attacks. This damage starts at 2d6 and increases by a d6 every fours levels in the prestige class.

Starting at 6th level you gain the Echoing Words feature.
Echoing Words - Spending 1 to 3 uses of your Lethal Lexicon die allows you to implant a delayed effect within the mind of target within 60ft. The target makes an intelligent saving throw against your spell save DC. On a fail you can choose one of the following effects based upon how many Lethal Lexicon die were spent, you can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier.
Manipulative Charm (3 Uses):
- Effect: Compel a target to perform a specific action that they wouldn't normally do, like attacking an ally, stealing a key item, or running interference.
- Duration: The action must be completed within the next 24 hours.
- Limitation: Cannot force actions that would result in certain death or extreme self-harm, but can be highly risky or against the target's nature.
Delayed Psychic Assault (2 Uses):
- Effect: Cause a burst of psychic energy to erupt from the target after 8 hours, dealing psychic damage to the target and anyone within 5 feet.
- Damage: Scales with the level of Lethal Lexicon die (e.g., d6 at 5th level).
- Additional Effect: Can cause disorientation or a brief stun to those affected (DM's discretion).
Subtle Suggestion (1 Use):
- Effect: Plant a minor suggestion or thought that subtly influences the target's decisions or actions.
- Duration: Influence lasts for 24 hours, guiding but not directly controlling the target's actions.
- Application: Useful for nudging targets towards certain choices or actions without overt control.
Confounding Whispers (2 Uses):
- Effect: Plant an idea or memory that confuses the target, leading to misinformed actions or decisions.
- Duration: Lasts for 48 hours.
- Impact: Could cause the target to mistrust allies, forget key information, or misremember events.
Covert Command (3 Uses):
- Effect: Instruct the target to deliver a message or item to a specific person or location.
- Duration: Must be completed within the next 48 hours.
- Stealth: The target believes this action is of their own volition, making it ideal for covert operations.
Starting at 9th level you gain the ability Silver Tongue.
Your words now alter the inner reality of targets. Spending a Lethal Lexicon die you can create an illusion again a target within 120 feet. The illusion is so real that targets roll intelligence saving throws at disadvatage to resist it. The illusion can be anything the Wordweaver desires from a tranquil setting to a vicious, terrifying hellscape.
When used outside combat the illusion lasts for 10minutes while during combat the illusion lasts for one minute. You can use this feature once per short rest.
At 13th level you gain the ability Mind Shackle. Spend a Lethal Lexicon die to incapacitate a target within 60ft and put them into a stupor. Spending additional Lethal Lexicon die can increase the Spell Save DC by one for each die spent, maxing out at a +3 bonus. The target must make an Intelligence saving throw against your Spell Save DC on a fail the target is incapacitated and in a stupor. While under the effect you gsin the following bonuses:
- Enhanced Critical Hits (In Combat): While a target is under the effect of Mind Shackle in combat, the Wordweaver's attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 18-20.
- Assassinate (In Combat): If the target is below half HP, the Wordweaver can automatically assassinate the target on a critical hit, implying instant death or severe incapacitation, subject to DM's discretion.
Some creatures (like those immune to charm or mind-altering effects) may be resistant or immune to this effect.
Starting at 18th level you gain the ability Word of Unmaking,
Once per long rest, speak a Word of Unmaking, targeting a creature within 120ft that can hear you. The effects last for one minute and have no saving throw. During this time you gain the following bonuses:
- You can choose to for the word to disarm the foe, causing their weapon to disaparate.
- You can weaken the targets main stat by an amount equal to a d6+1.
- You can choose to lower their AC by an amount equal to 1d4+1.
- You can choose to remove resistances or lower an immunity into an resistance.
- The target cannot resist the effects of your other Wordweaver abilities while the Word of Unmaking is active.
- You can use Murderous Intent repeatedly against a target affected affected by your word.
