Thunderstrike, the Echoing Axe
Description: Thunderstrike is a deceptively ordinary-looking axe, crafted with simple lines and unadorned steel. Its hilt is wrapped in worn leather, showing signs of use and battle scars. The blade, though plain in appearance, holds within it an ancient power waiting to be unleashed. Only the keenest observers may notice faint, shifting runes etched along the weapon's edge, reminiscent of storm clouds gathering.
Abilities:
Storm Call (Wrath of the Tempest): When the Dragonborn wields Thunderstrike, the axe resonates with the elemental power of storms. As the Dragonborn channels their voice, invoking the shout Storm Call, the axe's runes flare to life, crackling with electrical energy. A deafening thunderclap accompanies the shout, summoning a raging storm overhead. Bolts of lightning rain down upon the area, wreaking havoc upon foes and imbuing the Dragonborn with the might of the tempest.
Call of the Wyrm (Draconic Summons): As the Dragonborn wields Thunderstrike, the axe resonates with the ancient call of dragons. By invoking the shout Call of the Wyrm, the runes on the blade emit a radiant glow, summoning forth the essence of a mighty dragon. A resounding roar echoes through the air as a majestic dragon descends from the skies, answering the Dragonborn's call. The Dragonborn gains the ability to mount and ride the summoned dragon, soaring through the skies with unparalleled speed and power for a limited duration.
Clear Skies (Breath of Clarity): By raising Thunderstrike towards the heavens and invoking the shout Clear Skies, the Dragonborn harmonizes with the elements. The axe resonates with a soothing energy, dispelling stormy weather and clearing the skies above. As the shout reverberates, clouds disperse, wind subsides, and blizzards cease, allowing the Dragonborn and their allies to navigate with clarity and focus, unaffected by adverse weather conditions.
Soul Tear (Rend of the Damned): With a ferocious swing of Thunderstrike, the Dragonborn taps into the depths of their power, invoking the shout Soul Tear. The axe pulses with an ethereal glow as the shout rends the very essence of the target, tearing asunder their life force. This shout not only deals devastating damage to the foe but also has the potential to summon a spectral ally to aid the Dragonborn in battle.
