Linked

48th of Spirende 22nd year of the Second Era   The following day, Malcolm was informed by Lord Ozin Lorimer that the cursed medallion that had been left in the Wizard's Door was not there. Malcolm checked the door and confirmed that the box was there, but not the medallion.   The Regulators searched eachother in case the medallion had somehow taken an influence over one of them. The medalion was found in Zuko's affects. Zuko touched the medalion, and while it did damage him, he found holding it made him feel angry and agressive as well. Echo felt a part of her reaching out for the power of the medallion, which made her uncomfortable.   They decided to secure the medalion and deal with the issue at another time.

The Past Preserved

49th of Spirende 22nd year of the Second Era During the next rest, Meara and Echo discovered that during their search of eachother for the medalion, they had developed carnal feelings for eachother and gave into their impusles for the moment.   As they reached the edge of the treeline they discovered a sword belonging to a member of the Hellige Riddere stuck in a tree. Closer inspection revealed they were in the remains of a very old camp site that had been partially absorbed by the growth of a tree. Pulling out the sword revealed revealed a cavity in the tree where the sword's owner's pack was still preserved. Inside was a journal. The journal belonged to a member of the Hellige Riddere who was tasked with preparing the tomb of Klizmir the Undying for his imprisonment. The author revealed that Klizmir's ability to control the dead meant they could not leave dead members of the order to guard the tomb as they did other protected places, so "other means" were used to secure it. The party took this to mean the tomb was riddled with traps. The author camped here after a forced march away from the tomb trying to escape an undead creature controlled by Klizmir.   By noon The Regulators could see Kuningröf in the distance. Though the original path to the front of the structure had crumbled off of the mountain, there was an intact secondary path up the side. When they reached the final staircase to the front doors, they could only travel two by two. Zuko proceeded up the stairs, followed my Meara and Echo, then Malcolm and Wulffric. When Meara and Echo reached the step half way up the flight, the stair gave way, and every stair below tilted, turning the stairs into a stone slide, with a freshly opened pit at the bottom...   To Be Continued...
