The Barrens Family

Structure

The only true Barrens in power is the High Lord while the rest of the bloodline hides in the shadows after the Usurping of the False Blood incident, in rare circumstances they use their bloodline as a way of dealing with certain situations via thievery, bribery, and even illegal dealings. Though such things are usually explainable... some aren't.

Public Agenda

As the family in-charge of the Firewing Empire the Barrens family relies heavily with the thoughts of both the public and many of those in power. Fortunately due to the strong bond that the first of the bloodline made with the families of the currently ruling lords the Empire's stability is assured and by proxy their families' power.

Assets

The family relies on the wealth of the Empire, however rather than abuse it and bring the end of their reign, they heavily save their treasury as a means of using it for emergency situations or helping public development.

History

The Barrens lineage began long ago after the mysterious silence of the Frostweave empire, which governed most of the north of Telera .The first of the bloodline encountered a ruined fortress from during the Fel Incursion and within it's majestic but ruined walls stood a Great phoenix, it is rare to witness a phoenix let alone a great one the first of the bloodline seen this as sign, reinforce by the phoenix leaving behind a greatsword forged from an unknown metal, it was there upon that day the Firewing empire, was born.

By the flames we found where we stood, and with it, we walk the lighted path.
