Session 16
General Summary
Fireteam Crescendo is introduced to the Cabal tradition of the welcoming ceremony and given context for its meaning. They are escorted to the entrance to the Gauntlet and given a moment to collect themselves before the ritual began. The party secured 2 of the keys required to open the door, during which time many heroic events occurred. Bentley cast Nova Bomb 7 times in 13 rounds, Judge also contributed 2 Nova Bombs, Zelle landed 6/6 of her Golden Gun attacks, and Cloak held off a group of 9 enemies singlehandedly for 3 rounds. As the session ended, the party set themselves up for the retrieval of the final key.

| Ari | Ari is taking more of a forward role in the last few sessions. She's becoming more assertive and assured in problem-solving the situations she's been in. Spider can comment on the change in her presence the next time they meet. |
| Bentley | Massively in-tune with the Void during this session. Following his episode last session, this works well for Bentley's growth and character direction. Ikora can use this knowledge, if shared with her, to add on to her point about using the Void to tame the Void and grow in power. |
| Cloak | The one-versus-en stand was a feel-good moment for Cloak. It was equally heroic and grounded in his character. Jarek would be interested to hear about it if Cloak wants to tell the story. |
| Ernesto | Ernesto was able to consistently contribute in every round of combat, which has greatly pleased Calus. If this continues, Calus may offer him a fast-tracked advance up the layers of the Shadows to a position where he can consistently get important work done. |
| Judge | Judge again showed his experience and expertise by deducing the psionic properties of the arena and helping coordinate the mechanics. |
| Zelle | Zelle was able to flex a bit of her strength in a really well-rolled session. She seems to hold a bit of resentment towards Bentley after the incident earlier in the day, but Bentley's display of power may have given her something to praise him about. |
