Session 15
General Summary
Following the defeat of Protheon, Modular Mind, the party is dragged rapidly back to the loyalist landing barge by an afflicted Bentley. Attempting to curb Bentley's behavior, the party devolved into a skirmish that concluded when Bentley self-destructed. He returned to life with mild amnesia of the past hour. The party departed for the Leviathan, and upon landing were welcomed by Emperor Calus warmly. After being escorted to the Emperor's court, the party was able to ask about the contents of Zelle's book. Emperor Calus clarified that the book was written by someone who wants the reader to be compelled to investigate it. It has the allusion of the Awoken Queen, but Calus does not believe the Queen is capable of the power contained within it, therefore there must be another entity that wrote the book. Calus then showered gifts on the party for their actions in returning his stolen treasures, and he offered each of them the opportunity to join his Shadow organization. Bentley and Ernesto accepted while the rest of the uninitiated party declined. Calus then directed the group to the Castellum so he may welcome them and give them a tour of the Leviathan to get to know his new Shadows more intimately.
