General Summary
After opening the path to The Anchor, the party lands to find that the Vex have again sealed the path of pursuit with a formidable Cyclops and a defensive force. Traversing the multi-tiered arena, each party member contributed to defeating the Vex presence. A weary Bentley provided long-range support from an elevated platform. Zelle, Ernesto, and Cloak brawled with a Vex Minotaur on the main level, while Ari and Judge slipped down to the lower levels to interface with a Vex conflux that powered a shield around the Cyclops. With the shifting paracausal energies, Cloak was killed in a superpowered blast from the Cyclops but quickly revived to continue the fight. After the Cyclops finally fell, Calus' Loyalist troops wished the party luck on their pursuit of the last artifact.
Stepping out of The Anchor, the party sees that the area ahead is covered in Red Legion mining sites, and after they descend the way forward is littered with rocks raining from the tops of the drill structures. Descending from the cliffside to the mining fields, the party sees that the Vex have placed patrol Hydra around the open wastes. They navigated the patrols and the randomly crashing rocks on their sparrows and arrived at the top of a small hill on the outskirts of a mining camp.
