Meyar

Meyar is a continent that is covered with smaller nations constantly vying for power through border skirmishes, political marriages, alliances, and trade agreements. Because of this there is a constant need for adventurers to deal with any manner of problem. Smaller towns don't receive the protection they need from the monsters of the frontier. Castles will send out groups to gather resources instead of sending troops. Leaders will buffer armies with talented adventurers. Looking to capitalize on the endless opportunity adventurers began to unionize and form guilds. Over the years these groups grew and amassed more power as the need increased and the business became more corporate minded. While there are many of these adventurer businesses throughout the continent, five have risen to become a tier above. Fortune five hundred if you will. They are: Acquisitions Incorporated, Dran Enterprises, The Noble Knife, The Silver Sliver, and The Six.
Meyar has the Endless Ocean seperating it from Avinik and therefor has very little interaction with it. At one time there was a land bridge that connected Meyar with Ard, but that was destroyed long ago and is an incredibly dangerous area now due to the Billowing Waves.

Geography

Meyar is the largest continent on Fiore and the farthest south. It's climate ranges through all spectrums and is host to a variety of landforms. There are mountain ranges, volcanoes both active and dormant, jungles, swamps, rivers, grass lands, everything. the most temperate zones on Meyar are farther north, with rain forests to the east. because of Meyar's proximity to the south pole the bottom half is much colder and has tundra and taiga climes.

Fauna & Flora

Meyar has the largest variety of flora and fauna due to its vast size. It is also home to more dangerous and monstrous varieties than the other continents. Meyar has the most untamed land and creatures have adapted to the harsh lifestyles as a result.
