Couladahd (coo-la-dahd)
The Inevitable
Couladahd is a Prime Deity and god of death. He oversees those who die and decides the level of Nyphyl, the realm of the dead, they will be sent to, either Ruah, Arcath, or Gaias. He presides over the natural inevitability of death, and while prolonging life through healing and medicine does not concern him, to defy it with undeath is extreme blasphemy.
Couladahd is the father of reapers, unique beings that ferry the souls of the departed to Nyphyl. Reapers are extremely powerful and effectively immortal due to Couladahd's grace, though highly restricted in how they can affect the world. Reapers cannot be seen by any creature they wish to be hidden from, excluding souls of the dead, or creatures in the realm of Shadow. They can innately cast Shadow Walk, and are experts at using it to quickly flit from one soul to the next in their endless task.

Tenets of Faith
The Gravewardens, servants of Couladahd, have many duties; most involve tending to the last wishes of the dying and providing burial services to those who died alone. They also set out to cure diseases and defend people from monsters so that folk do not die before their time. Their final and arguably most important task is the destruction of undeath in all its various forms as it is an affront to Couladahd. Servants of Couladahd are usually clad in somber gray vestments and are trained in wielding the scythe.
“The living close the eyes of the dead, but it is the dead that open the eyes of the living.”
