After the The Betrayal of Életfa, the great Életfa Tree split apart was ignited as the Elder Gods released their Elder Elementals onto to the material plane. Some say it was the powerful magic used in the war and crumbling of the Raashken Empire, other's say it was a war of gods against each other. Either way, what is known is that the world broke apart during this time. During this 100 year time of chaos and destruction, many nations had to gather close while others split apart. Races were scattered across the lands, and some were blessed by gods to adapt better to their new survival. Some call it the Breaking of the World, because it was when the continents split and separated. Some call it the Great Flood as the waters rose and shifted as Hologai'kekoa thrashed in its rage. Most call it the Burning Time, however, due to the nature of frequent volcanic eruptions, a overcast sky of deep red and a red sun, and the burning of many once powerful artifacts and relics. What stands out most of all is the burning of the Életfa Tree. Though two saplings were recovered, the view of this tree with its burning branches reaching to the heavens and roots reaching to hell was a sight that haunted the world and brought the nations to their knees.
