Exodus of the Ake

The elves that were banished to the Netherworld after the The Betrayal of Életfa became known as the Yoru Elves. Eventually, however, they seperated into two factions. The Ake Elf variations were those that went to the west in what was called the Exodus of the Ake. The Ake elves were no longer able to live in the same peaceful manner as the Yoru Elf variations. They believed that true peace and a world without violence was impossible. However, they thought it might be sustainable for a select few. They dedicated their existence to developing protective systems within the Netherworld in order to support the peaceful lifestyle of the Yoru elves. However, their violence was deeped a corruption among the peaceful elves. The followers of Ririsu, wife of Fëoraith, traveled away to a land they named Akedia, and called themselves Ake Elves. Over time, they grew pale in complexion in the dark lands. Some also call these "Pale Elves" and or the slur "Cicada Elves."
