The Angels
Angels are celestial servants of deities. They often represent common concepts that may be attributed to Gods, or more general ideas. Such ideas include prudence, justice, charity, temperance, patience, courage, fortitude, forgiveness, loyalty, honesty, humility, kindness, and diligence
Followers of Saat believe that many of the other deities are actually Angels of Saat. This cannot be proven because Angels are vastly complex among their various courts and hierarchies.

Not all angels can remain pure. Human emotion is strong enough to not only bring forth gods but also corrupt angels. Corrupted angels are stripped of their wings and halos so they do not burn from the weight of the divine, but are sent to remain on earth as watchers of humanity. They are receptacles for mankind's folly, devouring and surviving off these deep mortal flaws. By taking these powers, they cannot fall into fiendish hands and mankind can be redeemed from sin. These beings exist between planes and can have devastating effects on any mortal that witnesses their greatness. One such version is AF:
AF once took the anger and wrath of the faithful and turns it into wisdom, passion, reverence, and awe. However, the anger of the world was vast, and AF fell to the corruption, feeding off the hate of the world. It consumes the endless hate of all civilizations and its form has been twisted into horror beyond mortal comprehension. AF's motivations are simple, to eat all of the anger of the world. This Gragori is constantly bleeding, choked, blinded, and impotent. Without wings, it cannot feed off the power of the divine. Even its arms were removed, and though two blood-red limbs hover over the stumps, they are useless in all ways. when AF steps into a plane, it does so because of the sheer amount of rage that fills the world. It consumes the blood and woe of all things that hate, often destroying civilizations in the process.
What separates AF from the Prince of Hell, Wrath, is that AF consumes their hate in their purging, leaving the soul cleans in the afterlife. Meanwhile, the Prince of Hell fuels the emotions of hate in other until their soul is utterly corrupted and brought to Hell.
