Naming Traditions
Other names
Most Kappa have unique sounds or names for each other in Aquan that translate to common as things related to the sea or sailing. Most of these are usually shortened as they can be quite long when translated from Aquan. For example, a Kappa might have the name "Bubbles Rising from a Midnight Song" which would get shortened to "Bubbles" in common. They typically have one unique name gifted to them by the community during the hatching celebration.
Culture
Culture and cultural heritage

Common Myths and Legends
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
The quality of ones fins is very important to a Kappa. Long "whiskers" among the males tend to represent great wisdom, and a long fins can represent agility and athleticism.
Gender Ideals
Most Kappa are female with only a handful of males at any given time, usually no more than 5 per 100 Kappa communities. Those males are expected to be the caretakers of clutches and guppies while the women tend to most of the other duties. A clutch will usually develop into mostly female unless it can sense an unbalanced amount of males in the community, in which case one might be born. If all males are killed, a female might become a male and take over that role, usually without much choice in the matter. However, all are happy to fulfill the needed roles of their community whether hunting, gathering, or caring for clutches and guppies.
Courtship Ideals
When a female lays a clutch the males will often compete for her attention and she will get to chose which one fertilizes and cares for the clutch. There is little else done in ways of romantic or sexual relationships.
