Framfar

The City of Moving Light. This city consists of four enormous disks one above the other each one spreading over ten kilometres in diameter. It is placed between mountains in a deep valley and is from bottom to top over five kilometres. The top two disks are the pinnacle of human creativity as the mirrors and lenses reflect the light through a hole which is also always on the move moving through the city to imitate the sun's movement, People who see it from down, see an enormous clockwork of moving cogs, wheels and pipes all kept in work thanks to allblue whose dim glow can be seen at night. The travel between the disks is done by train.

The Disk of Order

The first disk and the only one that is directly open under the sky. This is the place where the Eferian government is situated and also the biggest market and skyport in the world. The disk is one of the last ones to be built only after the allblue mines were discovered and it had established itself as a junction point between different parts of the empire. The disk consists of six different parts.

The Fram Skyport

The biggest skyport in the world, able to accommodate over 300 container airships and over a thousand smaller ones. It is situated on an artificial plateau, it can change shape and also anchor down stronger depending on the weather. Every day hundreds of ships move through this port and pour the riches into the city.

The Government of Order

The council is responsible for guiding the never-ending progress and prosperity of the Eferian empire. This is the district that accommodates the Circle of Order where the government works. There is also the temple of Untropy which is dedicated to the Untropian Pantheon. The council members live scattered through the destrict in the most luxurious houses in the town. There are also the ambassadors of the Vindilion empire to ensure that trading between the poles is smooth.

The Market of Colours

The biggest and most pompous market in the empire. It is known for its variety of goods and sometimes a little bit of shady business. The goods come from all over the globe even from the Vindilion empire, which transports the majority of the food as the Eferian empire's climate is not so well customed for crop growing. Here in well-guarded houses is even possible to buy some allblue for consumption. Even though the allblue is low quality it is highly regulated here, though in some bystreets it is possible to buy under the counter. Still, the quality and purity tend to be highly questionable.

The Fol

Living quarters of the nobility and the priests. It is the largest district of the town spanning over a quarter of the city. Here are also some of the shops for high-end consumers: different tailors, woodworkers, stoneworkers and so on. As the city can not expand the rich have started building higher houses to showcase their riches. The priests tend to have houses similar to strongholds as their importance is higher yhan those with blue blood in their veins. Many houses are connected via the maintenance tunnels that are built onto the disk itself. The government has tried to block these passages but sometimes those seem to have minds of their own as people have told finding passages that there were not before. The tunnels have been used for assassinations, delivering goods that do not like other eyes and just for getting silently from place to place.

The District of Light

The District of Light or Suppressor as it is called in some of the lower disks, houses the army of 20,000 men and serves also as the training and experimental grounds for the army. 2000 men from those are local law enforcement. Those call themselves Regulators and are especially feared for their inhuman manners and sometimes even alien looks.

The Disk of Harmony

Here are the research facilities and universities. Powerful weapons are created here as well as means to travel faster both in and out of the city. The research facilities are always trying to get more and more pure allblue and trying to discover all its effects. In universities study the next generation of artificers and scientists, ready to make the world more efficient than it was before. Also, there are developed more efficient ways for manufacturing the allblue in factories and then those discoveries are sent down to the Workforce. The housing is also offered by the government but is quite expensive.

The Disk of Foundation

The living place for commoners and workers. This disk's population makes up almost two-thirds of the known city population. Here the buildings are also reaching far up, but usually not as much to showcase wealth but to accommodate the people who usually live in tiny apartments. The disk has a small separate district on the far side near the train station to the upper disks. It is called the Low District because the houses there are small usually one to three floors and people live there by families. This part is mostly occupied by lower-end merchants, researchers and higher-end workers.

The Symmetry Disk

The most regulated part of the city. This is the place of Framfar's riches as the allblue is refined and processed here. Many parts of the processing are hidden and work force is always kept in certain parts by the military.

The Disarray

Lowest part of the city. All the waste from the city and factories is directed here. It is a desolate place where it is almost impossible to get in and even more impossible to get out. The specimens who live here are called Nightfolk. Stories tell that people tend to mutate here as well as the environment itself. The only way in and out is an elevator that is guarded by three thousand men in a fortress. sometimes some specimens are taken and brought to outsiders to look at and for researchers to do tests on.
