Kobold

Originating from the Savagelands, kobolds have for eons worshiped the greater beasts of the Savagelands. Dragon are the greatest of those creatures. Kobolds have a natural sensitivity to light leading them to hide in the tight caverns of the Savagelands. Their natural cunning has manifested in a talent for traps. Kobold cultures use traps as a type of trial to adulthood and some even measure the members worth on their trap making skill. The truly peculiar fact is that this talent transcends culture and even orphan kobolds make traps, even if their adoptive families do not.
