Alltrost
The Sundering Wall could almost be seen from Alltrost, but somehow it could always be felt. Like a looming shadow with ominous prospects for the small town of farmers and crafters. This shadow had been here since the wall was built, yet it has grown into a dark thought deep inside the minds of the inhabitants of Alltrost.
Demographics
The large majority of the population is human and halfing, with a decent amount of gnomes amongst them. Elves of any kind are hardly ever seen in Alltrost and if they are, they are met with unkind eyes. If any other race comes along it is a rarity but they are not unwelcome. It isn't a wealthy town and most citizens would be considered normal folk.
Government
The village is run by a small council of Alltrostians and mayor Allistar Fiddling who gather and discuss important details. This council is led by the owner of the Inn where these meetings take place Jack Meadbrew .
Defences
The village itself has little in the way of defenses, yet a military camp has been set up near the village. Fenrian soldiers are stationed there to protect the area, including the village of Alltrost. The villagers have some small weaponry, but no great defenses in any other way.
Industry & Trade
In the town itself trade happens between the villagers more than the use of any currency. There is of course currency, though there is not a large amount of value in total in town. Every once in a while a Saler comes by town and sells some more exclusive items.
Architecture
Since the village isn't particularily rich, the buildings are made out of simple wood and some stone. The building's are run of the mill farmer's houses and cottages.
Geography
The village is located on a grass plain. There are some hills in the surrounding and to the north a large forest looms. There used to be a river nearby but in the years after The Sundering Battle the river dried up and the grass around the village turned to a grayer shade of green. It's still alive, though it does look a lot less vibrant.
Natural Resources
There are some farms where they keep some cows, but mostly produce all kinds of grains and wheats. In the area surrounding the village is a forest so there is a large supply of wood available.
