Altaris is a mountainous kingdom north of Rugard, sharing a border with the Great Empire of Llanfar. The northernmost parts of Altaris are frigid, while its southern region is temperate and shares Rugard's eastern mountain range. They have the largest concentration of precious metals in Y'shtara and.
Altaris has few nobility and a smaller army, depending mostly on its harsh terrain as natural defenses against invasion. Many of its citizens mine the precious minerals in their mountains, and the high altitude farms focus on producing dairy and meat. They typically worship gods associated with harvest, rain, fortune, and husbandry.
