Garish
Garish was the mentor of Ragnar Ironbeard, and a Cleric of Egar at The Rocks.
Resuing Garish After the Night of the Living Shadows, Garish passed his mantle as Cleric of Egar on to Ragnar. Following that, a disciple of Garish’s by the name of Oman told Ragnar that Garish was rowing out on a tiny boat into the middle of a terrible storm.
The Ring & Wren pursued him on the Leeward, thinking he meant to commit suicide out on the sea, but were attacked by another ship captained by the Oni. After a short skirmish the Oni escaped and the Ring and Wren attempted to return to shore, unaware that Dhor lurked in the waters below.
Dhor’s tentacles wrapped around Amari and Oman and attempted to drag them into the depths. While Amari initially escaped, he allowed himself to be taken again to save the life of Oman. It was Ragnar, however, who ended up in a watery grave as he sacrificed himself to save Amari. The party witnessed a vision of him fighting Dhor by himself and losing before Ragnar’s glaive floated to the surface.
Garish, having lost his mantle-taker, returned to The Rocks afterward.
Ritual Garish was present for the Ritual to protect the Rock, which he did with Ragnar’s younger brother Jäger.
Death Garish died when Dhor attacked The Rocks while the Ring & Wren were away at sea, on their mission to take back the home of the storm giant refugees. He showed up at Hammerhead Isle and recounted the tale of how he was killed, his blood used to desecrate the temple of Egar. Shortly after his arrival, Dhor showed up at Hammerhead Isle as well and killed Egar.
