Beluga-class Carrier
If the Starcutter-class Cruiser is the ubiquitous workhorse of a Feather Corps fleet, then the Beluga is the backbone since it serves as a mobile spaceport for all Battle Suits within a fleet or fleet element.
Lacking any form of capital weaponry and sporting poor defenses, Belugas are sitting ducks during heavy engagements. As such, they will always be accompanied by a contingent of Starcutter-class Cruisers, picket vessels, or even a Glaive-class Battleship depending on the nature of their deployment. Rather than fire support, Belugas can deploy up to sixty Battle Suits at a time and significantly shift the flow of a battlespace. This is quite rare, however, as the orthodox approach the Feather Corps champions encourages carrier captains to assign Battle Suit squadrons into shifts which cycles throughout a battle. This minimizes the risk posed to individual pilots that suffer during long-term engagements and allows them to resupply and refuel before returning to the fight.
