The Shopkeeper is a mysterious fellow. He exists in his own pocket dimension, inviting in people who hold oddities and mysterious items that he'd love to collect. He's a merchant, after all, though his
Skaduseun appearance suggests he may be from the Dream World.
Rumours suggest that the Shopkeeper visits you in a dream, further cementing his connection to the Dream World. Once he visits you, he offers you an appointment in his store. If you are to accept, which most do, a door will find its way to your location at the specified time and disappear behind you. You're then allocated time within the Shopkeeper's store to trade and purchase oddities and magical items.
Once your allocated time is over, or you leave back through the door, you will be placed back at the place you entered. There are often rumours spread through drunk patrons at Taverns that they have met the Shopkeeper, but in truth his attention is only focused on those who can trade him oddities as rare or strange as the ones already in his collection.
It is unknown when the Shopkeeper first appeared, though rumours suggest that he is a Felfae that has channeled the thousands of years in the Dream World to mastering Spirit Magicae.
