Nethrass

Nethrass was a being of immense power and malevolence, a void Dragon unlike any other. Her dark scales were like obsidian, and her wings were so large that they could cast a shadow over entire towns. She was worshipped by a cult of fanatical followers, who sought to raise her up as a deity to be feared and revered.   For years, Nethrass terrorized the Glainian continent, preying on villages and towns, devouring entire populations and leaving nothing but destruction in her wake. The people of Pottersteel had heard tales of her for generations, but they never expected to come face to face with the beast.   In the summer of 1656 FW, Nethrass descended upon Pottersteel with a fury unlike any before. The town was ill-prepared for her onslaught, and many lives were lost in the initial attack. But a group of adventurers, known as The Troublemakers, banded together to fight the dragon.   It was a long and grueling battle, one that would come to define the history of Pottersteel. The Troublemakers fought valiantly, using every weapon at their disposal to bring down the beast. And in the end, it was a young Minotaur, Rikka Zhakan, who struck the final blow, killing Nethrass.   But the victory was not without cost. For Void Dragons hold a dark secret. When dying, they release an intense explosion, much like that of a dying star. Many lives were lost, both among the adventurers and the townspeople. And when Nethrass fell, she left behind a great crater, a reminder of the destruction she had wrought. But in the aftermath of the battle, something miraculous happened. The land around the crater began to sprout with lush greenery, as if the dragon's death had brought new life to the earth.   And so, the Dragonfall Festival was born. It started as a small gathering of townspeople, a way to honor the sacrifices made during the battle with Nethrass. But over the years, it grew into something much larger, a celebration of life and rebirth. The festival has changed and evolved over time, but it remains a testament to the bravery of The Troublemakers, and the power of the people to come together in the face of adversity.
