Carol is the defacto leader of Issum Ignis, and mom to everyone she finds.

Personal history
Carol used to be one of the "it" moms in their neighbourhood. She always one-upped her peers and held the best charity events. Growing tired of how competitive and shallow she became, her husband, Mark, suggested they take a break and moved out, taking Destiny with him.
Word quickly got around that her marriage is falling apart. The other moms in the neighbourhood lost respect for her and soon Carol was disgraced and alone. Only her oldest friend, Peggy Fannypack, stayed with her during this troubling time. Carol finally decided that if she can't be a hero to her family and her neighbourhood anymore, she will go out and be a hero to the world, because someone needs to get this world in shape and she won't trust anyone else to do the job right.
So with her heavy duty rolling pin in hand (the one she used to roll out the bread dough for the local temple bazaar), she headed out to create a new life for herself. She hopes that in the process she can make enough money to pay for Destiny's college (cause heaven know's that kid won't get a scholarship like the twins did), and to help Artemis pay to set up an art gallery.

Husband, Mark Jones.
A Human. He is the owner and CEO of Mark's Cart Repairs. Starting out as a simple cart and carriage repairman, he later started his own business and has a couple of repairmen working for him. He does not do repairs himself anymore, but rather focuses on the business and financial side. Children:
