New Haven
Ground zero for the "Hero Renaissance". Birthplace and home of some of the country's most prominent heroes (and villains). A place formally world renown for it's crime and corruption, it's now seen as the poster child for what a world full of powered individuals and super heroes can be.
Government
Built after the Old Wars, New Haven is one of the first city-states founded in the early years of the post-Imperial Age.
Defences
Built with the intention of remaining its own free state, New Haven earned its lesser known nickname, The Citadel, thanks to its fortress like defenses. Built on an island surrounded by two rivers, the city is protected by the natural mountainous geography.
Infrastructure
Built over the remains of a former industrial town, New Haven has rebuilt itself with the help of newer, cleaner energy sources, technology, and magical help.
Guilds and Factions
New Haven is home to many different Hero and Vigilante organisations. They range from government, to individual, to corporation based. New Haven also has a number of thriving Villain organisations , but those aren't as easily found in the ol' phone book.
Geography
Centered in a valley between two mountain ranges, New Haven is most easily reached by land and water. The region is lush and most fun to visit during the changing seasons.
