History

​Jacen Pelor was a prominent councilmember in Dunwald 132 years ago He fell onto the wrong politcal side of an issue with the then-ruler (the issue has been lost to time) and Jacen was banished from the capital. He arrived in Dranesh where he set up shop as a consultant to the small council there and ended up with control over a small group of spoes and informants. Over the years his reputation and capability grew until he moved his entire operation to Chesterton. At that time (115 years ago) Jacen had a stable of 33 knaves. Since that time the organization has grown to a stable of 116 assassins and support personnel including information gatherers, doctors and a small team of diabolists Before his retirement, he created two divisions within the organization; creating a career path for his membership. The groups that formed were called the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary. After Jacen retired 64 years ago the Secondary and Tertiary were merged creating a single Secondary. That group left the organizaiton 22 years ago after years of frustration and, what some members reported, egregious treatment by members of the primary and created the Dusk Sparrow. The Primary sees member of the Dusk Sparrow as traitors and deserters but their hand has been stayed by their current leader, Nyssa Tarlow​
