The Purple Worm

The Purple Worm is a Spirit that travels the Harena Desert. Its knows no hunger, yet hunts frequently. It is believed to do this out of pleasure, not to sustain itself. It burrows constantly while awake and in search of food. It can digest stone, dirt, and other minerals. Its true lair is deep underground, below the desert, but can be accessible via the tunnels it leaves in its wake.
