The Wardens attempted to lay eyes on the Bone Tower but they where waylaid by sheer white hags, three in number but supported by their icy familiars, which really took the fight to the Wardens. These hags practically glided over the snow drifts with ease. Worse yet, they each summoned down a snowy storm that made moving by those caught within the bitter winds quite difficult.
The battle was diffifult and at time it looked as if the Wardens would be lost but for Asha's command of the battlefield (and her precision strikes), Topaz's divinely inspired healing, and Maxi's game-changing Magic Missile spell.
The only loss for the Wardens was Cloudhopper, Calla's awkward and fish-stealing axe beak. She offered the his body to the Sky Gods, and steadfastly refuse cry over his loss--until she found a quiet spot where no one was looking.
Rewards Granted
Topaz used her spyglass to discover that the Bone Tower, and the enpty plains that surround it, was covered by a dome of unnatural darkness. Things have indeed gone from bad to worse.

Confimation that the fey have claimed the Bone Tower...but for what purpose?
