  - Caelis Thyrion -
Absent his usual bluster, Caelis enters the tavern and quietly orders a mug of mulled wine to warm his spirits and quietly surveys the room before seemingly reluctantly addressing those assembled, “ I suppose everyone wishes to hear the tale of our most recent venture to the tower ruins south across the river, though truly there’s not much to tell. The journey out was the typical FarView affair of winter wolves, near death experiences, giant wolverines, and refusals to share my bedroll. At the tower we explored a little further than others previous, finding some admirable treasure and some interesting tidbits of history, but nothing new or remarkable to add. We encountered more of the automatons that populate the place but before long we found it necessary to leave and make for FarView.

Sadly Asha's mule Martin was eaten by giant owls, so we had a long exhausting trudge home taking turns pulling our new treasures on a makeshift sled.” Caelis appears ready to say more before furrowing his brow, draining the last of the wine from his cup and heading to his quarters, convincing a strapping groom and plump washerwoman to join him along the way.
     - Asha -
Asha enters the tavern as Caelis tells his tale. As he finishes she raises her voice to the tavern and says, "Do not forget the Bear-Owl creature!! He was wounded bravely defending himself from the vicous wolverines! We were luckily able to treat his wounds, but when we began to cut up the wolverine corpses for meat and alchemical ingredients he mistook our actions for violence and fled into the woods."
Her face looks ernest and concerned—the tavern goers have little idea what has caused Asha to take a
liking to the strange monster she describes, but it is such a common occurence for her that they pay it little mind. The young tiefling continues to describe in detail the shape of the Bear-Owl's muzzle, the color of his feathers, the long gash in his side, urging all future adventurers that might encounter it to attempt to coax it into friendship with meat or any other treats they might discover it likes.
