2022/01/15: Adventure to Mole of Undead
General Summary
Feast Day, The Eve of the Shine, 597th Year of the hand.
On this day we set out for the Mole of Undead.
The travel there took 1.5 days and was uneventful. We rested the night before so we could approach during daylight as previous adventurers reported undead creatures during the night. Scouting out the area during the day we did not encounter any threats. The area contained a monolith to the southwest with carvings. Etchings were taken.
Orryn (in wildshape form) scouted out the mole and the spire like top. He found an entrance at the top with what appeared to be giant spiders inside. Using minor illusions, we were able to draw the spiders out and eliminate them. Thus clearing the way to enter the caves below.
Entering the caves we descended first into a small chamber then further down into a larger chamber. Scouting out the large room we saw several undead creatures and a floating skull. We rushed in to try 
and gain the advantage. Theodrogo smote the flaming skull, but not before it had cast a fireball on us that knocked Orryn unconscious. The party then fought off the undead creatures.
Within the area were numerous carvings in the wall that were documented.
We gathered up loot and after a bit of discussion, decided to return to Fort Far View. Theodrogo was very reluctant to leave as he sensed there were still more undead below, but others were not as keen. So we returned home with a nice bounty.

- 200 sp medallions in half-moon style
- 25 gp medallions in hex style with new runes
- 2 Goggles of unknown type.
