World with planet very similar to Earth's with several continents and oceans populated mostly by elves, humans, and lizard people, as well as a few other minor species. There is no magic in the traditional sense, only a new elementary particle which enables new fun physics exploits to go along with the ones we enjoy in our universe. The "gods" are mortals who use a magic exploit to keep themselves alive.   I'm building it purely for fun, not as part of a writing or DMing project or anything.
