The Salvation
The secret organization known as The Salvation, is a group which seeks to remove the planar tethers and boundaries linking the prime, material plane of mortals from all others. They believe that severing the world of Eurra from all other planes will cease the interference of gods, demons, and other supernatural forces wreaking havoc. It is also believed that some, if not all, forms of magic will gradually die off from the world as a result.
Assets
Countless agents and cultists, both knowing and unknowing, situated throughout the world in positions of influence. The Bad Luck Blitzkreig (BLB) has enountered beings manipulated in some way into thinking their own goals are being served by their dealings with Amberthane or his middle-men to serving his ends.
Though limited to the continent of Asada, a deal was made to sacrifice that land to the ravages of an extra-planar army of demons led by various Yugoloths. The BLB had numerous engagements with demons and Yugoloth commanders of different kinds. The plot ran so deep that there were even Yugoloths manipulating the workings of the Celestian Theocracy by masquerading as high ranking clergy. One such individual was the Arcanoloth called Azagires, who flipped sides to work with the Blitzkreig after discovering Amberthane planned to undermine his contract terms with the Yugoloths. While demons seemingly still have free reign over much of mainland Asada the Yugoloths have less presense.
At some point in the past Amberthane sought out a hag by the name of Karena Spitewillow for a means of compelling certain followers to spread chaos by destruction. The resulting hag-derived blood curse could be spread at Amberthane's discretion. He found a number of people willing to take on, as he would put it to them, "a small amount of darkness for the power to do greater good". Many disenchanted druids and rangers in lands of the Confederacy eagerly accepted the curse thinking it would help them protect their respective forest domains. Instead, it transformed recipients into monsters and drove them to seek out people and places of industry and development.
Amberthane also conspired a deal with at least one dragon, and likely others as well. The black dragon Thranzandroth, in exchange for treasures and magical materials, made a new lair for himself in the ruins of an overgrown city in the rainforests of the Elven Leagues where his corrupting influence poisoned the surrounding territories and shifted the balance of power for the native inhabitants. The BLB managed to drive Thranzandroth into fleeing his lair after a pitched battle.
History
The Salvation was the culmination of hundreds of years' worth of twisting schemes orchestrated by Enjilberth Amberthane. It is hard to judge when the organization formed as it probably existed in numerous other forms before the 1430s UE. Members of the cult could be found across the globe with varying levels of involvement. Some individuals serving the Salvation were unaware of the parts they played, so close were the reins held by Amberthane and his chosen underlings, but many were social and military dissidents. Ironically, the unrest that pushed many to join the group were caused by the actions of others that had joined through resulting unrest of Amberthane's other manipulations.
The full breadth of The Salvation's activities remains to be seen.

For a better world.
